ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Daisy Dobrijevic

I am currently a staff writer at All About Space magazine and Space.com. I have recently completed my PhD in Agriculture and Food Security (BBSRC DTP) at the University of Nottingham.

I possess an MSci in Environmental Science from The University of Nottingham and spend my free time seeking adventure.  Two of my most memorable conquests include spending three months living with remote Orang Asli tribes in the Malaysian rainforest and going for a (rather chilly) swim in an arctic lake under the midnight sun.

I strongly believe that our knowledge and understanding of our natural environment should be accessible to all.  How can we expect people to care enough about 'saving the planet' when they are so disconnected from it in the first place.  An informed insight into our Earth system could go a long way in achieving future conservation measures and scientific advancement.
